China’s foreign direct investment in Vietnam under the influence of Vietnam - China Political and diplomatic relations (1991-2022)

Abstract

Since Vietnam and China countries officially normalized diplomatic relationships, the two have developed extensively in all fields, from politics-diplomacy, economics, and culture to security and defence. In this context, political and diplomatic relations between the two have a direct impact on all other fields of interaction. This article focuses on clarifying the impacts of political and diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China on Chinese direct investment in Vietnam since the normalization of the diplomatic relationship until now.
