Abstract

In implementing the “postwar plan,” immediately after the liberation of South Vietnam, the United States and hostile forces organized and fostered FULRO forces in the Central Highlands in order to sabotage the Vietnamese revolution and divide the great national unity bloc. This was an extremely insidious and complex activity within the framework of “peaceful evolution,” aimed at undermining national reunification and the construction of socialism in Vietnam. The article focuses on clarifying the anti-revolutionary activities carried out by FULRO forces in the Central Highlands during the years 1977-1988, as well as the struggle conducted by the armed forces and the people against them in order to preserve the revolutionary government and ensure political security and social order in the Central Highlands.
