A brief overview of Ta Thieu giam, Tru quoc Thuong hau Dang Tien Hue

Abstract

To date, no comprehensive study has been conducted on the life and career of Dang Tien Hue. Utilizing archival sources and field surveys, this article highlights his contributions to both the Le-Trinh court and Mai Thuong village. Dang Tien Hue was repeatedly rewarded by the imperial court, granted peerage titles, and appointed to the Privy Council (Vien Co Mat) in charge of the royal naval fleet. Furthermore, he played a pivotal role in the construction and restoration of numerous historical sites and spiritual places of worship in Mai Thuong village.
