The revolutionary propaganda of Vietnam Communist party during the period 1930-1931

Abstract

Revolutionary propaganda plays an essential role in gathering people's movements under the Party leadership. Propagandizing revolutionary ideology in a systematic and consistent way is an inevitable condition for the Party work in guiding people revolutionary movements. Until now, there are abundant studies on the period of 1930 – 1931, however, the Party propaganda work is under-researched. Based on historical materials at the Office of Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee, National Archive No. 1 and 2, National Museum of History, the author concentrates on analyzing the work of propaganda of the Vietnam Communist Party during the 1930-1931 revolutionary movement in Nghe-Tinh, including objects, goals, and methods of propaganda. Accordingly, this paper suggests some features and the role that revolutionary propaganda played in the revolutionary movement in Vietnam between 1930 and 1931.
