Abstract

After peace was restored in Vietnam, the challenges imposed on the medical system led to the demand for reorganizing a new structure to care for people’s health. As a result, the Government of the Ministry of Health expanded training programs from postgraduate, graduate, intermediate and elementary levels, which provided the north with a considerable number of new staff whose professional qualifications carried out the task of taking care of the people's health. Although the training process still faces many difficulties, thanks to the proper policies, the timely adjustment of the Party and the Government and the close direction of the Ministry of Health, the training of medical staff and health workers during this helped the health sector operate a unified and relatively complete organizational system from the central to local levels.
