Abstract

The 1972 - victory "Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the air" was made by Vietnamese people, but resulted greatly from tremendous support and help both spiritually and materially from international friends and the progressive peoples in the world. In particular, we received valuable help from the Soviet Union and China in terms of weapons, modern technical equipment, and other material and spiritual support. In addition, there was also solidarity, a common trench, and an alliance to fight against the common enemy of the three Indochina countries, namely Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. All of these factors contributed to creating the driving force and synergy for the Vietnamese army and people to achieve the "Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu in the air" victory in 1972, bringing the resistance war against the US invasion to complete victory.
