Abstract

At today’s Binh Dan temple of literature (Binh Dan village, Tan Dan commune, Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province) stands a stone stele written in the Quốc Ngu scrip, measuring 1.65 m high, 0.75 cm wide, and 0.5 cm thick, compiled by the late Director of the Institute of History Tran Huy Lieu on December 15, 1965. On this occasion of the 70th Anniversary of the founding of the Institute of History (December 2, 1953 - December 2, 2023), I like to express gratitude and respect to the founder and first Director of the Institute of History, the late Professor, Academician Tran Huy Lieu by introducing the full text of this epitaph.
